- The student’s comunicative competence and language level are evaluated at the very beginning, and taking into account that information and his/her needs analysis a syllabus is designed.
- The focus will always be on communication and the student’s communicative skills. We work with “final tasks” or communicative activities that take place at the end of every unit of work.
- We consider both pronunciation and intonation to be essential tools in oral communication, and they have a central role in the course.
- Materials are selected according to whether they favour the communicative objectives set for the course and the students’ specific needs. We use textbooks, multimedia material and real life or authentic material such as newspaper clips, magazines, dvds and the student’s own material from work, etc.
- Flexibility is an essential element in all of the courses. Feedback between student and teacher as regards objectives, syllabus and material is key.
